No-one likes to think of themselves as a victim, and yet, whenever we place blame, wherever we give our self-worth, choices, freedoms, happiness over to another, we are playing out a victim consciousness.
First I want us to understand that we have been programmed by our society to be victims, ‘lesser than’ or helpless in many ways. Our spiritual and personal freedom, and our sovereignty, are naturally restricted by the society in which we live. If we remember that we swallowed these beliefs and programs as a child, having absorbed much of what we were taught, we can innerstand that we are children of conditioning to a society that would prefer us to be compliant, non-questioning and to ‘just follow the rules’. We are expected to trust that figures of authority — those who are educated, those that ‘govern’ — know what is best for us.
More often these days, many children do not fit into the systems of society, and many who are spiritually aware, seeking the truth, are claiming back their sovereignty as free men and women of the Earth. Many of us have been programmed to believe that it is self-centred, selfish, to be ‘full of ourselves’ or plainly unacceptable, to celebrate our successes or our simple being state: to be us, as we are.
Liberation and sovereignty come up very strongly within this topic of personal responsibility, independence, capability, free-will and choice.
When we take back our power and recognise our capability, trusting in the infinite potential of the Universe — and our own divine intelligence as part of the One, the whole — we move beyond helplessness, incapability and sacrifice. We move into our magnificence, our beauty, even our nothingness as the ego’s attachment to identity is released. Beyond the nothing is the everything, the all. This is the journey, from my perspective of releasing victimhood; of recognising the divine creator-being within each and every one of us, accessing life in all of its expressions.
So the cards and beliefs to assist us with our coming home to self and taking our power back, gaining mastery of the human condition in this journey of liberation, are as follows:
Grounding, 3 & 4
- “I connect with the life giving energies of the earth and lovingly release lower vibrations to Gaia to be transformed.”
- “I am earthed”.
Courage, 2 & 3
- “I release the need to be anything other than who I am in rider to succeed.”
- “I believe in myself and have the courage to fail or succeed”.
Openness, 3 & 4
- “As I weave loving kindness out into the world, I receive loving kindness from the universal web.”
- “I give”.
Greatness, 3 & 4
- “I cultivate my genius and observe with love as my greatness makes a positive difference in the world.”
- “I am wonderful”.
